Friends and Neighbors,
With a heavy heart that goes out to all Oregonians affected by the wildfires and devastation, I wanted to reach out and share resources that you may find helpful. Remember that if you are safe and in a safe location, stay there and stay safe. If you are under a Level 1 or 2 evacuation order, be prepared to leave and get out quickly if it changes to Level 3, the danger is too great to delay. With the heavy smoke in our air, stay inside as much as possible but be sure to check in with your neighbors and loved ones to see how they are doing. These past months in Oregon, during the pandemic, have shown us how resilient we can be as a community when we come together and take care of one another. Let's continue to do so.

How To Help
From the Red Cross
We know people want to help. Due to COVID-19 and the unpredictability of wildfires we ask that anyone looking to support those impacted make a financial donation at redcross.org or text the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation. That will allow us to help provide meals, shelter, relief supplies and more, right where it’s needed most. Also, for those looking to help their communities, we welcome volunteers to join us and provide the hope and comfort so many need right now. They can get started by visiting redcross.org/volunteer.
Remember to only call 911 in the case of an emergency. Communication is key in this ongoing and rapidly developing situation and all lines need to remain open. Do not call 911 to report smoke, only use to report fire and other emergencies.
Be good to yourself and each other. ❤
