Pandemic Unemployment Insurance for self-employeed, contract workers, gig workers ready for applicants

Hello Friends,

I am excited to share some news that I know will mean a lot to many of my constituents! The Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) program is open and accepting applications. If you are self-employed, a contract worker, or a gig worker, who had their employment impacted by COVID 19 but was not previously eligible for unemployment, Oregon is now ready to accept your application. Go here and follow the instructions provided.

As this program is brand new, I suspect there may still be some bugs to work out--but it looks like we're hopefully finally up and running. Hopefully this helps so many of us who are stuck right now!
