Dear friends and neighbors,
The whirlwind of November legislative days came upon us fast and the week was over before we knew it.
The list of the committees and work groups I was part of this week:
House Interim Committee On Business and Labor
House Interim Committee On Agriculture and Land Use,
Joint Task Force On Supporting Businesses in Reducing Diesel Emissions
and ending the week with Prevailing Wage Rate Work Group.
We got through it and I am glad to be here to do it.
Earlier in the week, I was interviewed by Dr. Jack Miller for his new podcast series. Dr. Miller is a Political Science Professor at Portland State University and Host of The Pothole Problem Podcast. Should be up soon, go check it out here: https://www.potholeproblempodcast.com/episode-list
Even with the limited days at the Capitol, I managed to have time to squeeze in a few meetings with constituents and visitors. I met with Oregon Student Association, Oregon Women for Agriculture, Oregon Women in Timber, Russian Old Believer Community, Pioneer Christian Academy, and LINN-BENTON Community College. I love connecting with our future leaders and making myself available to them to discuss the current and important issues impacting Oregon.
