Representative Hayden was glad to meet with members of the Oregon Coalition Against Sexual & Domestic Violence on their lobby day. There are many bills that deal with critical streams of funding for survivors of domestic violence including co-located advocates, emergency shelters and services, and stable housing options. Representative Hayden and Representative Brock Smith chief sponsored HB 2375 this session which was recently signed by the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House. HB 2375 requires district attorney to include sexual assault nurse examiner in sexual assault response team to adopt protocols addressing response to sexual assault victims.
