Welcome to my first
newsletter! I will be sending out periodic updates to let you know about what is happening in the legislature and events occurring

It is my honor to serve the people of House District 40 in the legislature, which includes Oregon City, Gladstone, Jennings Lodge, Johnson City, and parts of Milwaukie and Clackamas.

State Representative - Oregon House District 40
On January 9th I was sworn-in as State Representative. The best part? Having my mom join me on the House floor for it.
 Visit to Kraxberger Middle School
On January 20th I had the opportunity to visit with Ms. Erinn Emmons' 8th grade social studies class. I was very impressed by their thoughtful and spirited discussion. Our future is in good hands.

 G1/189 Mobilization Ceremony
Soldiers with Company G, 1st Battalion, 189th Aviation Regiment of the Oregon Army National Guard are deploying to the Middle East. I was honored to attend their mobilization ceremony on January 27th. I am thankful for their service and wish them a safe return home.
