Oregon Teacher Scholars Program Grant
Eligibility Criteria Updates
This year, the Oregon Teacher Scholars Program Grant underwent important updates to its eligibility requirements. The updated criteria focus on candidates who have experiences with diverse populations and a commitment to ongoing cultural competency. These updates ensure the grant continues to support students preparing for licensure in teaching, school counseling, social work, and school psychology, while aligning with Oregon’s goals for an equitable educator workforce.
The response has been overwhelming. OSAC received a record number of applications this cycle, highlighting the continued demand for financial support and professional development for future educators. The grant remains a critical pathway for students committed to serving diverse student populations across Oregon. We support this new cohort of Teacher Scholars as they prepare to make a difference in classrooms and schools statewide.
