Oregon Conservation Corps Announces 2023-2025 Grant Awards
Program and Planning Grants Approved by Advisory Committee
The Oregon Conservation Corps work continues for the 2023-2025 biennium. The Oregon Conservation Corps Advisory Committee and Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) staff have completed their evaluation of the July and August applications for Oregon Conservation Corps funding. The HECC is awarding over $10.7 million dollars to communities across the state. Oregon Conservation Corps awards reduce wildfires, create fire-adapted communities, and train the workforce of tomorrow.
The HECC is pleased to announce that it intends to award 10 grant agreements to the entities listed below.
This funding is provided by the Oregon State Legislature and philanthropic partners including the Oregon Community Rebuilding Fund, Portland General Electric Foundation, Pacific Power, Oregon Community Credit Union Foundation, the Roundhouse Foundation, the Gray Family Foundation, and more.
We thank all program supporters, program applicants and grant reviewers for their time and effort in this process. Congratulations and thank you for committing to serving Oregon!
