RULE CAPTION:
School authorization revisions and exemption procedures; new rule regarding permanent closure of an authorized school.
RULE SUMMARY:
583-030-0020: This amendment establishes standards and application procedures for schools to seek authorization or exemption from the Commission to operate as a degree granting institution in Oregon. Establishes conditions for provisional authorization of non-exempt schools. Clarifies the approval period for authorization.
583-030-0030: This amendment establishes the conditions for reporting substantive and non-substantive changes.
583-030-0042: This amendment updates annual reporting requirements of authorized degree granting institutions in Oregon.
583-030-0044: This amendment clarifies the state and degree granting institutions’ responsibility for student records, including student transcripts.
583-030-0061: This new rule requires schools to submit to the Commission a closure plan at initial or renewal of authorization. This rule also details the requirements of a school closure plan.
