Psilocybin Potency Workgroup Meetings in March

Greetings,

OPS will convene a Psilocybin Product Potency Workgroup on March 3^rd and March 17^th to consider potency formulas for psilocybin products, including “total psilocybin equivalent” and identify safety issues related to the use of high-psilocin products.

All licensed psilocybin manufacturers and laboratories are invited to attend and there will be a public comment period to receive input from members of the public including other licensees. Oregon Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ORELAP) will also participate, and OPS will facilitate the meetings.

This workgroup is not part of a rulemaking process, but it may produce recommendations that will inform OPS rulemaking in 2026.
