If your facility has state-supplied COVID-19 vaccine or RSV monoclonal antibody (mAb) doses allocated in ALERT IIS and plans to use them this season, please draw them down by 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15.
On Feb. 16, OIP will reallocate unclaimed doses of these products to providers who are ready to administer them. By keeping product moving, we maximize the volume of COVID-19 vaccine and RSV mAb doses available statewide.
-
Review your allocated COVID-19 and RSV mAb doses in ALERT IIS.
-
Draw down any doses you plan to use.
Doses not drawn down by 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb 15, will be reallocated elsewhere. The reallocation process will continue on a weekly basis as long as idle doses remain in ALERT IIS.
Thank you for helping maintain Oregon’s vaccine supply and ensuring timely access for patients!

If you missed the Jan. 30 prebooking deadline for next season’s pediatric flu vaccine, any clinic enrolled in Vaccines for Children (VFC) can still submit requests on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Prebooking helps ensure your clinic is stocked and ready for flu season. Even late requests made after the prebook window has closed will be considered, but availability depends on remaining supply—so act quickly!
-
Log in to ALERT IIS.
-
Estimate your doses needed using the “2026–27 Flu Season” event on the “request seasonal/pandemic” screen, or refer to the Ad Hoc Count Report for Flu Prebook to review your clinic’s past usage.
-
Complete the process using our Flu Vaccine Ordering Process tip sheet.
Available VFC flu vaccine products for 2026–2027:
-
Ages 6 months+: Fluarix TIV, FluLaval TIV, Fluzone TIV, Flucelvax TIV
-
Ages 2+: FluMist TIV (nasal spray)
-
Ages 9+: Flublok TIV
NOTE: This prebook is only for VFC-eligible children ages 6 months through 18 years—not adults or privately insured children. A separate process for Vaccine Access Program (VAP) providers to request flu vaccine for vulnerable adult populations will open in the coming months – stay tuned.
