 EDI Documentation Updated
Both the EDI Specifications and the EDI Data Dictionary & Business Rules were updated as of October 3rd. You can find the most current versions on the ROADS Resources Page.
Access Requests
If you need to close clients or manage client records, please contact your designated EHR Liaison directly. They are the appropriate point of contact for these tasks and are best equipped to assist within your EHR system.
Whenever possible, please make data corrections directly through your EHR to help maintain data integrity.
A big thank you to our EDI Providers for helping us keep everything running smoothly!
Note: This information applies only to EDI users. If you submit data manually through the ROADS Provider Portal, no action is required.
To strengthen cybersecurity across state systems, a new statewide policy now requires all user passwords to be updated every 60 days. This change is part of Oregon’s updated statewide information and cyber security standards, which aim to better protect sensitive data and reduce the risk of unauthorized access.
What This Means for You:
-
Every 60 days, you’ll be prompted to change your password.
- To avoid any disruptions, we recommend setting a recurring reminder on your calendar.
- If you’ve already set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), you can easily reset your password at any time here: Self Service Password Reset
- If you haven’t completed your MFA setup yet, see below for more details.
To access ROADS securely, all users must set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Our recommended and no-cost option is the Microsoft Authenticator App on your smartphone. It’s fast, secure, and no personal data is transferred to your phone, it’s only used to verify your identity.
If using a smartphone isn’t possible or you prefer a different method, you may choose to use a YubiKey instead.
What is a YubiKey?
A YubiKey is a small, physical security key that plugs into your computer’s USB port. It acts as a second factor for authentication, just like the Authenticator App, but without needing a phone.
Getting Started with a YubiKey:
- We recommend purchasing a YubiKey Series 5 (available online or in stores).
- You’ll need to install Yubico Authenticator software on the computer you use for ROADS.
- For help installing the software, please contact your facility’s IT team.
Reminder: You only need to choose one MFA method: either the Microsoft Authenticator App or a YubiKey.
Once you’ve decided which authentication method you’ll use, getting set up with MFA is quick and easy!
You’ll need your UPN (User Principal Name) and P# to get started. If you’re not sure what these are or need help locating them, just reach out to us at ROADS@odhsoha.oregon.gov.Â
When you're ready, contact the OIS Service Desk at 503-945-5623, Option 3 for MFA support.
As always, we’re here to support you! Please reach out with any questions!
To enhance security, all users must provide a unique, individual email address when requesting access to ROADS. Shared email addresses such as 'FrontDesk@domain.com' or 'Hello@organization.org', will no longer be accepted due to security concerns. Please ensure that each user request includes a personal email address, not a shared inbox. Requests submitted with previously used or shared email addresses cannot be processed.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our system secure.
