Revisiting Oregon’s Cost Growth Target for 2026-2030

The Oregon Health Authority is launching a short-term workgroup to develop and make a recommendation to the agency on the statewide cost growth target (currently 3.4%) for the 2026-2030 measurement periods.

The Cost Growth Target for 2026-2030 Workgroup will have a single charge: review economic trend data and recommend what the cost growth target should be set at for 2026-2030 to OHA by December 2025.

Sign up to participate by 5 PM on Thursday, Oct 2nd.

Who can participate in the Workgroup? 

  • Anyone may sign up to participate. 
  • There is no set number of members of specific "seats" on the Workgroup. 
  • OHA will only limit participation to one representative per organization.
  • Participants do not need to reside in Oregon.  

When (and how) will the Workgroup meet? 

  • The Workgroup will meet virtually about 5 times between October - December. 
  • Meetings will be 90 minutes. 
  • The meeting schedule will be released in early October. 
  • All meetings will be open to the public. 
  • Meetings will be recorded and the recording posted online.
