Revisiting Oregon’s Cost Growth Target for 2026-2030

The Oregon Health Authority is launching a short-term workgroup to develop and make a recommendation to the agency on the statewide cost growth target (currently 3.4%) for the 2026-2030 measurement periods.
The Cost Growth Target for 2026-2030 Workgroup will have a single charge: review economic trend data and recommend what the cost growth target should be set at for 2026-2030 to OHA by December 2025.

Who can participate in the Workgroup?
- Anyone may sign up to participate.
- There is no set number of members of specific "seats" on the Workgroup.
- OHA will only limit participation to one representative per organization.
- Participants do not need to reside in Oregon.
When (and how) will the Workgroup meet?
- The Workgroup will meet virtually about 5 times between October - December.
- Meetings will be 90 minutes.
- The meeting schedule will be released in early October.
- All meetings will be open to the public.
- Meetings will be recorded and the recording posted online.
