OPS has filed a temporary rule

Oregon Psilocybin Services (OPS) has filed a temporary rule amending OAR 333-333-4300 related to psilocybin service centers. The temporary rule amends OAR 333-333-4300(6) to require that an authorized temporary use may only occur between the hours of 6:00 AM and 11:59 PM local time. This temporary rule is effective today, Friday, August 29, 2025.

OPS recently discovered an unintended loophole in administrative rules regulating hours of operation and authorized temporary uses for service centers. The temporary action will explicitly prohibit temporary uses at licensed service centers after 11:59 PM. Service centers are required to comply with this temporary rule.

OPS will conduct permanent rulemaking, including a Rules Advisory Committee and public comment period, later this year.
