In this update:

Partner web page
At Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS), we are committed to making sure people in Oregon get the benefits and help they need. ODHS has launched a new web page for partners who help people apply for medical, food, cash and child care benefits through the ONE Eligibility system.
Please use and share this information to help people connect with ONE to apply for or manage their benefits:
- How-to videos
- Outreach materials to print, post and share
- A promotional toolkit that explains how to communicate about ONE
- Quick links to benefit help, the Oregon ONE Mobile app, language help, application help and web pages about the benefits offered through ONE
Partners can also find ways to partner with ODHS and Oregon Health Authority (OHA) to learn more about ONE, help improve ONE and help people apply for health coverage.
Quarterly ONE Partner Engagement Meetings
ODHS is also hosting a forum is for community partners who assist people applying for or receiving medical, food, cash or child care benefits. Each meeting starts with short presentations on ONE Eligibility system updates. Most of the time is devoted to community partner questions.
2025 meeting dates are March 12, June 11, September 10 and December 10.
All meetings are from 2:05 to 2:55 p.m. Pacific Time. Use the Zoom link below to join.
On Jan. 1, 2025, the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) will offer new benefits to young adults ages 19 and 20 with special health care needs. These OHP members often need more health and health-related social services than others the same age. To support them as they transition from pediatric to adult care, OHP will provide them with no-cost health insurance and other benefits.
What are the benefits?
Who qualifies?
To qualify, young adults must have at least one qualifying health care need that began before age 19, such as:
- Physical, intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Long-standing medical conditions like asthma, diabetes or spina bifida
- Behavioral or mental health conditions like depression or substance use disorder
They also must have a family income up to 205 percent of the federal poverty level.
It’s a busy time of year. Open enrollment for private health insurance through the Marketplace runs through January 15 each year. During this time, the ONE Customer Service Center will likely see an increase in call volume as more people seek assistance with their health coverage.
We understand that navigating health care and benefits can be stressful, and we are promoting all the ways people can connect with us for support with their medical, food, cash, and child care benefits. Go to benefits.oregon.gov to see all options for contacting us.
- People can create ONE Online accounts to apply for and manage their medical, food, cash and child care benefits at any time.
- The Oregon ONE Mobile app also offers a safe and supportive way for individuals who have applied for benefits to manage their benefits, wherever and whenever they feel most comfortable. The free Oregon ONE Mobile app is available in English and Spanish on Apple and Android.
