Apply to Become a Member of the Universal Health Plan Governance Board
Applications are due Friday, Nov. 15, 2024
Governor Tina Kotek and the Universal Health Plan Governance Board seek qualified candidates to fill a public engagement seat. The board invites you apply if you:
- Are in the public engagement field
- Support the development of a comprehensive plan to finance and administer a universal health plan that is responsive to the needs of the state and to the expectations of Oregon residents, as outlined in Senate Bill 1089 (2023)
- Support the values and principles expressed in Senate Bill 1089
- Represent a variety of health care professional and community perspectives, including experience as enrollees in Medicare and Medicaid, or living without health insurance
This position would complete the term of a vacant public engagement seat through Dec. 31, 2025, and would be eligible for reappointment to a second term that begins Jan. 1, 2026. Board members are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Oregon Senate.
