OHA hosting Crisis Care Guidance public input session Aug. 28
What: A public input session for members of the public on draft updates to Oregon’s Crisis Care Guidance.
Agenda: A meeting agenda can be found at Oregon.gov/crisiscareguidance.
When: Aug. 28, 4:30-6 p.m.
Where: Via Zoom Meeting: Registration required. Register at https://bit.ly/CCG-Public
Background: Health care resources such as medicines, equipment and trained professionals are essential to ensure everyone gets the care they need. During emergencies, when health care needs increase, resources may be short. Therefore, hospitals and health care providers may need to change how they give care. Crisis care guidance helps them make equitable health care decisions in an emergency.
Oregon Health Authority (OHA) has made updates to Oregon’s Crisis Care Guidance. OHA wants to know what people in Oregon think about the draft updates. OHA staff will present information about crisis care guidance and what has changed in these updates. Participants can ask questions and provide feedback on the updates. CART captioning and simultaneous Spanish interpretation will be provided.
