Oregon State EMS Committee meets July 12
What: The Oregon State EMS Committee is holding its quarterly public meeting. A public comment period is offered at the end of the meeting.
Agenda: EMS Modernization Bill and its implementation; CARES cardiac arrest report; data update.

Committee vacancies: The OHA EMS & Trauma Systems committee and board structure will be changing in 2025 due to EMS Modernization. Because of this, the committee will not be recruiting to fill current vacancies.
Background: The State EMS Committee advises OHA concerning the adoption, amendment and repeal of rules authorized by ORS chapter 682; assists communities in identifying emergency medical service system needs and quality improvement initiatives; assists the EMS and Trauma Systems Program in providing state and regional emergency medical services coordination and planning; and assists in prioritizing, implementing and evaluating emergency medical service system quality improvement initiatives identified by communities.
