OHA has several resources for new and current health-related social needs (HRSN) providers. HRSN providers are organizations that provide services, including climate, housing, nutrition and outreach and engagement benefits (learn more about these services and who qualifies). There is also an HRSN Provider Training webinar series, which takes place on the fourth Tuesday of every month from 1pm – 2:30pm. Topics for these live sessions are focused on HRSN provider needs. To learn more, contact Tania Curiel: Tania.V.Curiel@oha.oregon.gov.

OHA is seeking your feedback about the rules and guidelines for HRSN Housing Services, HRSN Nutrition Services, and HRSN Outreach and Engagement Services. You can provide comment by attending a Rules Advisory Committee (RAC) meeting via Zoom on Friday, June 14th from 1pm to 4pm. Meeting registration information and a draft of the proposed rules can be found on OHA’s RAC website under the heading “meeting material.”

The next 1115 Medicaid waiver “All Come” and “Para Todos” webinars will take place on Wednesday, June 12th at 10am in English and at 2pm in Spanish. The webinar series usually takes place on the third week of the month, but is being amended this month to recognize Juneteenth.
The webinar topics for this month will include:
- Updates on the rollout of the HRSN climate benefit
- The HRSN housing benefit
- Expanded benefits for Youth with Special Health Care Needs (YSCHN)
- Briefly review timelines for Community Capacity Building Funds (CCBF) and survey
- Rules Advisory Committee for HRSN services and the next 1115 waiver webinar series.
