The 2024 short legislative session begins on Monday, Feb. 5 and ends March 10.
The CCO Weekly Update will share relevant links with each Friday issue. Shorter sessions move fast, however, so you are encouraged to visit OLIS for the latest updates, agendas, testimony, and live feeds.

There have been changes to the following Value-Based Payment (VBP) requirements in the 2024 CCO contract:

Exhibit H, Section 6, Paragraph b: This paragraph describes the requirement for each CCO to:
- Engage in interviews with the OHA about its VBP activities; and
- Complete and submit the VBP Pre-Interview Questionnaire prior to the
OHA will waive the requirement for CCOs to engage in VBP interviews. Instead, OHA will incorporate elements of the interviews into the VBP Pre-Interview Questionnaire, which has been renamed as the VBP Questionnaire. The due date for the questionnaire remains May 3, 2024.
OHA will make this change in the 2025 CCO contract restatement.

A message for IPS programs:
As OHA begins to collaborate with OSECE on making all necessary updates for the new OAR’s that will be taking affect 02/01/24; the Division will be temporarily pausing all IPS fidelity reviews from February 1 – April 30, 2024. The fidelity reviews that were scheduled during this time will not need to be rescheduled; including any provisional status programs. Any re-reviews for the remaining of 2024 calendar year will be canceled as the program will no longer have ability to be reviewed based on the old OAR’s & tools that were used for initial review. The certifications for these programs will be approved.
Please continue to remain in communication with OSECE to ensure technical support on any procedure changes is received and make sure you are on the IPS listsrv to receive any updates from OHA.
