Oregon Health Policy Board is recruiting
Are you an individual not working in the health care field and interested in helping guide health policy for the Oregon Health Authority?
Governor Tina Kotek and the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) are seeking qualified candidates to fill two vacant positions on the Oregon Health Policy Board (OHPB). The Governor is looking for individuals who are committed to eliminating inequities, improving health, improving health care and to lowering health care costs in Oregon.
About OHPB
The OHPB is a nine-member Board appointed by the Governor. Time Commitment
OHPB meets the first Tuesday of each month from 8:30 am to noon. While all meetings offer hybrid participation (virtual and in-person), there are meetings that require in-person attendance. OHPB also hosts community meetings at locations throughout the state.
The average OHPB member spends approximately 15 hours each month attending meetings, reviewing materials and serving as a liaison to one of OHPB’s eleven committees. Please consider the time and responsibilities required of members before you apply – contact OHPB staff if you have any questions or concerns.
For OHPB information and materials from previous meetings, visit OHPB’s website. For resources and information on executive membership, including OHPB, visit the Governor’s Boards and Commissions webpage.
