Highlighted Partner Resources
Middle School Career Exploration Modules
The Oregon Department of Education is excited to announce the launch of our new Middle School Career Awareness Modules that were designed in collaboration with our partners at Wisewire. These project-based, standards-aligned resources embed career-connected learning directly into everyday core instruction, helping students connect what they’re learning now to who they might become. Along the way, students strengthen academic understanding, build essential employability skills, and discover real pathways to high school, CTE, and beyond.
Why Middle School?
Middle school is a key time for students to explore careers before making high school course and pathway decisions. These modules help students:

See the “why” behind their coursework
-
Explore Oregon careers and CTE pathways
-
Build confidence, curiosity, and employability skills
-
Make more informed choices about high school and beyond
