Background
The Immigrant/Refugee Student Success Plan (IRSSP) was written to address barriers to educational success for Oregon students who identify as Immigrant/Refugee. The goal of these grants is to support efforts utilizing the strategies outlined in the Plan to address issues such as attendance; chronic absenteeism; early childhood to elementary, middle to high school, and high school to post-secondary transitions; and will include a variety of supports including the involvement of parents and communities across the state in order to assist Plan students to develop a range of knowledge, skills, abilities, and dispositions that will lead to successful student outcomes in educational achievement. Additional details are included in the Scope of Grant Activities (Section 2.4) of the RFA.
Who is eligible to apply for the Grant Program?
must be a community-based organization, school district, education service district, early learning hub, early learning provider, public charter school, tribal government, or post-secondary institution.
Funding Amount
The maximum grant amount for year one April 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027) will be $200,000. The maximum grant amount for year two 7, to June 30, 2028) will be $200,000.

- Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 3:00pm - Question deadline for FAQ document
- Monday, November 24, 2025, by 3:00pm - FAQ document posted
- Monday, December 1, 2025 - Applications Due by 3:00 p.m. PST
