Still to Come:

2025-27 CTE Revitalization Grant

While the Request for Application (RFA) for the 2025-27 CTE Revitalization Grant is not yet available, we can offer information and resources in anticipation of its release.

The grant will be open to public school districts, education service districts, public schools, public charter schools--or combinations--in Oregon.

The intent of the CTE Revitalization Grant is to strengthen existing CTE Programs of Study and create new CTE POS that will meet workforce needs and which may include high-skill, high-wage, or in-demand industry sectors or occupations; support achievement of the Oregon diploma; and address the needs of historically and currently marginalized youth, learners, and families, including civil rights protected classes, Perkins special populations, and focal student groups.

The Points to Ponder document can provide guidance for those who are developing Revit programs.

Please refer to the CTE Revitalization Grant web page for updates and resources. The 2023-25 RFA linked on the page--while no longer active--can provide background for many elements that are likely to remain unchanged in the updated version.

Call for reviewers...

CTE Revitalization Grant

ODE is seeking volunteers to serve as CTE Revitalization Grant proposal reviewers.

While we don't yet have concrete dates for the 2025-27 RFA launch or the precise period of the review, we're building a group of experienced individuals who can lend their insight to assess proposed Revit programs. Ideally, reviewers will represent a variety of backgrounds--business, industry, education, trades, labor organizations--and come from a wide range of experiences and perspectives, including partnerships, equity, sustainability, counseling, community representation, etc.

Each reviewer is projected to review between four and eight applications (estimated time to review is two to three hours per application). There will be an in-person calibration meeting in Salem (date TBD--hybrid options may be available).

If you are interested in serving as a reviewer, please submit the reviewer application form no later than October 27, 2025.
