The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) is currently seeking applicants for the Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (NHPI) Student Success Advisory Group. This group advises ODE on education matters affecting NHPI students and families, and in order to address systemic inequities experienced by NHPI students through focused investments and community partnerships that align with the NHPI Student Success Plan. Applications are due Friday June 27, 2025 at 5:00pm.

Audience
According to ORS 329.849, the advisory group must include:
- Individuals who identify as NHPI;
- Students who identify as NHPI;
- Representatives of community-based organizations that serve NHPI communities; or
- Education stakeholders, including representatives of the Department of Early Learning and Care, the Youth Development Division, and the Higher Education Coordinating Commission.
Additionally, the department will be considering other intersectional identities and roles of applicants to ensure equitable and diverse representation of NHPI communities in the Advisory Group.
