Informational Update: May Aligned Message

Thank you for your dedicated work to submit the IG Application even amidst all schools and districts are navigating. We appreciate all of the school leaders, community partners, ESDs, and district leadership team members that contributed to the applications. We look forward to learning from the applications as we continue to support Oregon school districts and students.

Integrated Program Applications are due on April 30, 2025 by 11:59 PM

All applications for funds for the 25-27 biennium must be completed and submitted by this deadline. See the March 3 Special Message for more information.

Updated Requirements for FSI Progress Updates and School-Level Improvement Plans

Changes highlighted below, full details in Federal School Improvement (CSI/TSI) Progress Updates & School-level Improvement Plans guidance.

  • Progress Updates: Only schools identified as “eligible to exit” using data from the 2024-25 school year will be contacted to complete the Progress Update. This will occur in late summer/early fall. 

  • School-level Improvement Plans: School leaders will collaborate with district staff to connect their school to the submitted strategies in the Integrated Application. This will occur during Quarter 1 reporting, October 1 - November 15, 2025.

Safety is paramount in hands-on environments, and this page offers a collection of tools to empower CTE programs in fostering a culture of safety and excellence. By using these resources, we aim to prepare students for successful careers within a secure learning environment. This page is just the beginning, and we look forward to continuing to build out this resource, linking more classroom and school safety materials in the coming months.

New Student Attendance Guidance 

Guidance for Supporting Oregon's K-12 Public School Students During Heightened Immigration Enforcement

Reminder: The 24-25 ODE Professional Learning Opportunities website lists all professional development opportunities provided by ODE. Also the EII Technical Assistance, Professional Learning and Coaching calendar is now available to track EII specific TA, PL, and other coaching opportunities.


Key Dates

Claiming and Reporting Due Dates

EGMS Claim Reminders: 100% of Student Investment Account and Early Literacy funds are available to claim and should be claimed as soon as possible. Funds must be claimed and spent by June 30, 2025. Any unspent funds will be returned to ODE after Annual Reports are submitted.

High School Success funds must also be spent by June 30, 2025, the claim by date for HSS is August 14, 2025. Be sure to claim the full HSS Year 1 allocation before claiming the HSS Year 2 allocation.

Annual Report is Due on September 30, 2025: The 24-25 Annual Report for both Integrated Programs and Early Literacy has been moved to September 30, 2025. This will help to close out the 23-25 biennium and ensure expenditure reporting is better aligned to the close of the fiscal year. The 24-25 Annual Report guidance and access to the appropriate smartsheet links will be available on July 1, 2025. Reminder that the Integrated Programs Annual Report includes a requirement of presentation to your School Board with Board Minutes submitted to ODE.

Reminder: The Required Monthly Submission and Reporting Calendar lists all required school district submissions for the 2024-25 school year.
