It's time for sponsors of the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) to complete renewal requirements for continued participation. SFSP Renewals for fiscal year (FY) 2025 will open in CNPweb on April 1, 2025, and all requirements must be completed by April 18, 2025.
The requirements are broken up into three steps--training, online forms, and offline forms. Refer to this memo and the Non-School Food Authority Renewal Instructions for guidance on these required steps.
1. Training Training, and accompanying instructions, are available on the ODE CNP SFSP Training webpage.
- If your organization has a new SFSP Food Program Coordinator (FPC) or Authorized Representative (AR) for FY 2025, please contact your assigned Child Nutrition Specialist, for New FPC/AR training requirements prior to completing the annual training requirements below.
A. The SFSP Food Program Coordinator, as listed in CNPweb for FY2025, must complete all of the mandatory trainings before the sponsor renewal can be approved.
The Food Program Coordinator must complete Civil Rights trainings by 4/18/2025
The Food Program Coordinator must complete the following trainings by 4/18/2025:

- SFSP Basics: Reviews
- Non-Congregate Summer Meals in Rural Areas: Introduction****
- Non-Congregate Summer Meals in Rural Areas: Determining and Documenting Rural Eligibility***
- Non-Congregate Summer Meals in Rural Areas: Meal Service Requirements and Models ***
- Non-Congregate Summer Meals in Rural Areas: Considerations and Best Practices***
- Non-Congregate Summer Meals in Rural Areas: Approval Process***

Additional training(s) may be required pending guidance from USDA.
B. To confirm completion of all required SFSP trainings, complete and submit the FY 2025 SFSP Annual Training Quiz: Renewing Sponsors
2. Online Forms Online forms can be found in CNPweb and they will be made available 4/1/2025.
The following online forms must be completed:
- Available in CNPweb in the Applications tab:
- Sponsor Info Sheet
- Sponsor Budget
- Sponsor Management Plan
- Sponsors with a Management Plan for the CACFP may elect to apply the CACFP Management Plan to the SFSP within this form if it applies to SFSP operations
- Site Info Sheet(s)
3. Offline Forms Please email completed forms to ode.communitynutrition@ode.oregon.gov. Include in the subject line: FY2025 SFSP Renewal [Sponsor Name]. Please submit forms as individual documents; do not combine forms into one document.
- If applicable, please submit the Meal Distribution Plan for Rural Non-Congregate Meals and supporting non-congregate site documentation directly to the assigned Child Nutrition Specialist.
The following offline forms must be completed:
- Offline Sponsor Budget (excel)*
- Free Meal Policy Statement*
If applicable, the following information must be submitted:
- Vended Meal Agreement*
- Area eligibility documentation for new or expired Open or Closed Enrolled sites
- Site Proximity documentation for new open sites
- Rural Area Documentation for Non-Congregate Meals
- Alternative Guardian Pick Up Process
- Meal Distribution Plan for Rural Non-Congregate Meals
- Sample Bulk Meal Distribution Documentation

4. CNPweb Forms Complete the following forms as necessary and submit to ode.communitynutrition@ode.oregon.gov. These forms are available on the CNPweb Packet tab.
- To add new sites, complete and submit the Site Add/Modify form
- To remove sites, complete and submit the Inactivate Site form
- To modify CNPweb users:
- To add users, complete and submit the User Authorization Request and Certification Form
- To remove users, submit the User Authorization Termination Form
