Dear High School Counselors and College Access Professionals,
The OSAC Scholarship Application for the 2025-26 school year is open!
We want you to be informed and empowered to assist your students this year. Whether you support high school seniors, current college students, or adults returning to college after some time away –we have over 600 scholarships available to explore!
KNOW THE DEADLINES
The Early Bird Deadline is February 18, 2025. Completed applications will be entered into a drawing for one of several $1,000 Early Bird scholarship awards. The Final Deadline to submit the OSAC Scholarship Application is MARCH 3, 2025.
EXPLORE THE SCHOLARSHIP CATALOG
In the Scholarship Catalog, you can review eligibility criteria and requirements for 600+ OSAC Scholarships. View the PDF version and search by keyword based on major, activities, high school, region, employers, and more. Students can make their own list, then search and “Save” them in Section 2 of the Scholarship Application. This year, the Scholarship Application includes 14 new scholarships; these funds have a code of 938 or higher.
CREATE A TEST ACCOUNT
If you are supporting students through the process, we encourage you to create your own OSAC Student Portal “test account”:
- Create an OSAC Student Portal account.
- In the initial Profile "About Me" section, select “This is a test application” under Applicant Type.
- Proceed and complete your Profile using “test” data. You may complete test applications for OSAC Scholarships in addition to Oregon Promise, Oregon Tribal Student Grant, and other OSAC Grant programs. (Note: Test applications will not be reviewed by OSAC.)
FAFSA/ORSAA
The 2025-26 FAFSA and ORSAA are scheduled to open in December. Students must submit the FAFSA or ORSAA for consideration for many OSAC scholarships. Learn more here.
UPLOAD TRANSCRIPTS
High school staff can upload transcripts on behalf of their current seniors and recent graduates who apply for OSAC Scholarships. Note: Most schools should upload transcripts starting in January/February when sufficient grades are available.
If your high school does not currently participate in the OSAC Partner Portal, now is the time to sign up! OSAC encourages all Oregon high schools to request an OSAC Partner Portal account so that registrars or other staff can submit information to help students complete their applications. To request an account, please contact PartnerPortalSupport@hecc.oregon.gov.
If you already have a Partner Portal account, please log in to make sure your account is currently active. If you have login issues or need to reactivate your account, please contact: PartnerPortalSupport@hecc.oregon.gov.
