This school year amongst a multitude of challenges, teachers like you are still creating what our students want and need - meaningful arts experiences in our public schools. Even though you may not always see the impact of your work with students immediately, know that you are changing the lives of so many young people for the better, and that we value the deep and meaningful work that you do. Thank you arts educators!
If you have a celebration or recognition to share about your colleagues in arts ed, we would love to feature these stories in this newsletter. Please reach out to shannon.johnson@ode.oregon.gov with any celebrations you’d like to share!
