TO: Sponsors of Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) and Seamless Summer Option (SSO)

RE: Summer 2024 Non-Congregate Operations in Summer 2024 Training and Questions and Answers

On April 4, 2024, the Oregon Department of Education hosted the Non-Congregate Summer Meals in Rural Areas webinar for the Summer Food Service Program and Seamless Summer Option.

All sponsors interested in participating in Non-Congregate Meals in Rural Areas must have either attended the live webinar or watched the recorded training. Sponsors must verify the completion of the training in the Meal Distribution Plan.

During the webinar ODE CNP had a question-and-answer opportunity. Based on those questions during the webinar, as well as questions that came in after the webinar, ODE CNP has developed a Questions and Answers document to support sponsors in the implementation of Non-Congregate Meals in Rural Areas.
