Thank you for your continual work in supporting school health services and enabling each student to participate fully in their education, fostering academic excellence, belonging, and wellbeing.

New FAQ Resource for OAR 581-022-2220 (Health Services)

ODE has created a new resource to support districts, ESDs, and public charter schools in implementing the updated OAR 581-022-2220 and creating their prevention-oriented health services plan. This FAQ provides answers to frequently asked questions that have arisen in engagement with schools, districts, and ESDs about the Health Services Rule. For more information, please see:

Districts will report on their compliance to OAR 581-022-2220 as part of their annual Division 22 reporting in November 2024.
