TO: Sponsors of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), After School Snack Program (ASSP) and Special Milk Program (SBP)

RE: REVISED School Year 2023-2024 Reimbursement Rates with Oregon Payments effective July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has released the school year 2023-2024 reimbursement rates. The Oregon Department of Education School Nutrition team has posted a reimbursement chart on the School Nutrition website which contains both the federal reimbursement rates as well as the Oregon payments. In addition, the 23-24 USDA foods entitlement rate can be found at the bottom of the chart.

Sponsors of the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, After School Snack Program and Special Milk Program should use the updated rates when calculating reimbursements for the 23-24 school year. These rates are effective July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024.
