Good afternoon,
You are invited to join ODE staff for office hours on Monday, April 3rd from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. for a conversation about how to improve communicable disease guidance and planning for the 2023 - 2024 school year. During this meeting, ODE would like to hear your experiences and any feedback you have on the plan template and instructions utilized this school year, with the goal of incorporating critical improvements for next year’s planning. The Zoom meeting information for the upcoming office hours is below.
Please note that the primary intended audience for the April 3rd office hours session is school and district leaders in public and charter schools.
You must register in advance for this meeting series.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know how to join the meeting.
These office hours are designed for School and District Leaders in an effort to...
- Provide clarity and updates around COVID-19 and other respiratory diseases to operate school in-person, every school day.
- Provide updates around other communicable diseases that raise social and physical health concerns, so that schools are ready to tackle any challenges to in-person learning.
- Create a space where questions and ideas from other practitioners may inspire new thinking or solidify current planning.
- Reinforce anchor ideas and values in communicable disease management, and health, safety and wellbeing in schools.

Offer two-way communication and create a space to engage in conversation and sense making.
