Re: Adjusted timelines for the application for the Education Staff Retention and Recruitment Grants

Dear Superintendents and Business Managers,

We want to let you know that after hearing from districts, ESDs, and charter schools, we are adjusting the timelines for the application for the Education Staff Retention and Recruitment Grants. We want to provide time to make sure the work of the application lays the foundation for the best use of the funds.

Please note the following changes to our timeline:

Applications will be due June 6, 2022
ODE will review and respond to applications until June 30, 2022
Final report templates and requirements will be posted by September 30, 2022
Final date to spend HB 4030 funds is June 30, 2023 (This is unchanged, and a reminder)
Final date to claim funds through EGMS is July 31, 2023.

These changes will be updated on our website to reflect this information.
