Recruitment has been extended for the 2022 Mathematics instructional materials evaluation. District administrators and supervisors are highly encouraged to share the application with teachers, curriculum specialists, or other experienced professionals with expertise in Mathematics for grades K-12.
Please fill out the evaluation committee application if you are interested in serving as an evaluator this summer. Applications are due by 5 pm PDT on May 18, 2022.
Individuals who are selected to participate on the committee will receive up to eight hours of professional development and an honorarium for their time. No travel is required for this year's evaluation.
The following is a summary of the schedule for this summer’s evaluation:
- Last week of June: Required training (synchronous portion scheduled for the afternoon of June 27).
- Week of July 5: Asynchronous, independent review of publisher presentation and submitted instructional materials prior to Q&A sessions.
- July 11-15: Required synchronous Q&A sessions
- July 18-22: Asynchronous, individual review and scoring
- July 25-29: Synchronous consensus discussions and group scoring (required)
- August 1: Deliverables due
