Tribal History/Shared History Implementation Survey

Tribal History/Shared History

Good Morning,

The Oregon Department of Education’s Office of Indian Education, in partnership with Marzano Research, is administering the “Tribal History/Shared History Implementation Survey” to teachers and curriculum directors in the next few days. This survey is part of an effort to learn about the implementation of Tribal History/Shared History (Senate Bill 13) in classrooms across Oregon. Office of Indian Education staff can use the survey results to support educators as they implement Tribal History/Shared History in their classrooms.

  • The survey should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete. Participation is entirely voluntary.
  • Marzano Research will report survey results in aggregate form and will not share personally identifiable information with ODE/OIE, districts, or schools.

An invitation for teachers will be delivered to principals at all public schools. Principals should follow the instructions in the forthcoming email to ensure all teachers have the opportunity to participate in the survey. Curriculum directors will receive the survey directly from the Oregon Department of Education.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Caitlin Scott at Marzano Research.

Thank you!
