Dear Oregon School and District Leaders,

The beginning of September marks a milestone in our work together to return students to in-person instruction. Across the state, districts have implemented layered mitigation measures to successfully return to in-person instruction while protecting health and safety.  The last year and a half of experience and success at mitigating the spread of COVID-19 in our schools is visible across the state.

Throughout the updated Resiliency Framework you will find:

In addition, we have answered a set of questions raised during the August 26, 2021 Coalition of Oregon School Administrators (COSA) meeting, during which Director Gill walked through a number of the same topics updated in the Resiliency Framework.

Thank you for your continued partnership as we all work to provide the best learning experience and environment for students and staff across the state. As always, please send any questions to ODECOVID19@ode.state.or.us. Thank you!
