ESSER III School District Allocation Increase

Good Afternoon Superintendents and Business Managers,

ODE received a notification from the U.S. Department of Education on June 25, 2021 stating Oregon’s ARP ESSER Fund allocation had been increased. This increase reflects adjustments to the fiscal year 2020 Title I, Part A data used for award calculations at the federal level. In turn, this results in an increase to the formula distribution to Oregon’s school districts.

ODE has completed the calculations modifying the ESSER III formula distribution to school districts and staff are currently working to update EGMS subgrants with the supplemental awards. Revised school district allocations will be released on Thursday, July 22, 2021 in conjunction with the materials for the ESSER III District Supplemental Plan. School districts will also be able to find the new allocations on the ESSER III website under Allocations starting July 22, 2021.
