SIA Update

Thank you to those who were able to attend one of the progress report office hours over the past two weeks - it was great to connect and answer questions! For those of you who weren’t able to attend, here’s a record of questions that we’ve compiled and turned into FAQs to support you in completing your progress reporting. 

As a reminder the first programmatic and financial progress reports are due January 31, 2021. All districts and eligible charter schools with an executed grant agreement should have received a live link from Smartsheets for your customized Reporting Dashboard. ODE will begin reviewing reports on February 1 and will respond to your submission by March 15. This is the first opportunity ODE has to review your adjusted grant expenditures in light of the allocation reduction. Therefore we ask that you pay special attention to the “Tracking Expenses” portion of the Reporting Dashboard, where you should report on 1) your allocation reduction response; 2) your updated budget amount; and 3) your expenditures for the first reporting period (July 1- December 31, 2020).

This Week’s Frequently Asked Question

Q: The first SIA programmatic and financial progress report is due January 31, 2021, which falls on a Sunday. Can we submit our progress report on Monday, February 1st?

A: Yes, the ODE SIA team will accept progress reports on Monday, February 1st.
