Happy 2021!
I am writing this newsletter with an underlying tone of encourage, support, and optimism. I also want to acknowledge that for some, including myself, the challenging experiences we triage and work through on a daily basis are in no way intended to be diminished or marginalized by my voice of optimism and "business as usual" offerings of future professional development and technical support. I continue to be inspired and appreciative of the scope and depth of work from our teachers, support staff, administrators, students, and families every single day.
Recently, Jennifer Sappington, sent out a form designed to create a directory of TAG district contacts. She also asked districts if there was a need or interest in receiving TAG training and/or support. The response was clear, so here we go...
TAG training session #1 - TAG Essentials (misconceptions, social-emotional impacts, belief gaps, statutes, and OARs). This is a great training for those new to a district-level TAG position.
