New Framework Does Not Change K-12 Operations

Today, Governor Brown and state health leaders outlined a new health and safety framework for the state of Oregon that aligns to the metrics being used for K-12 schools.

These statewide health and safety metrics will be familiar to school leaders and educators and have no operational implications for schools and districts under the Ready Schools, Safe Learners guidance. There are implications for the wider community as this takes the same metrics we've been working with the last several weeks and applies them in a broader way across Oregon.
