Ready Schools, Safe Learners Version 3.0.1

The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) is releasing an updated version of the Ready Schools, Safe Learners guidance.This version, 3.0.1, includes the new Community Health Metrics released jointly by Governor Brown, Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Early Learning Division (ELD), and ODE yesterday. Two sentences have been added to the guidance to clarify the need to still complete an Operational Blueprint if opening in Comprehensive Distance Learning (CDL). A corresponding change has been made to the Operational Blueprint to make completion simpler.

The release notes table in the guidance is also updated, identifying both today’s changes and the July 22 changes. ODE’s next planned iteration of the Ready Schools, Safe Learners guidance is August 11, 2020.
