Information from Oregon Health Authority:
The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) has adopted temporary rules to address the COVID-19 virus. The temporary rules add a definition of COVID-19 to rule, and require laboratories to report both positive and negative tests results for the COVID-19 virus to the Oregon Health Authority within 24 hours. (Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR) 333-017-0800 and OAR 333-017-0900).
In addition, OHA has also adopted rules to exclude individuals with COVID-19 from attending or working in schools and children’s facilities, or from working in health care facilities or food service facilities. (OAR 333-019-1000).
These temporary rules are effective March 9, 2020 through September 4, 2020.
