S-270 Basic Air Operations-March 22,23 2025

(0800-1700) Mosier Grange,900 4th Avenue, Mosier Oregon. This course covers aircraft types, capabilities, aviation safety working with aircraft and tactical uses of aircraft in support of wildland firefighting operations. Student Fees:  $25.00 for CGTA members and $50.00 fee for non-CGTA members.

 

S-290 Intermediate Fire Behavior-April 5 ,6 ,12 ,13  2025

(0800-1700) Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue,1400 W 8th Street, The Dalles Oregon. This course covers the characteristics of fuels, weather and topography on wildland fire behavior, fireline tactics, and safety. The course length is four days as indicated above. $100 student fee.

 

S-215 Fire Operations in the Wildland Urban Interface-May 3,4 2025

(0800-1700) Washington DNR Training Center,325 6th Avenue, Dallesport Washington. This course provides firefighters with tactical decision options when confronting a wildland fire that threatens life, property and improvements in the wildland urban interface. Student Fees: $25.00 for CGTA members and $50.00 for non-CGTA members.

 

S-230 Crew Boss(on-line) with S-231 Engine Boss Exercises

S-230 students complete the on-line version and attend a one day of in person classroom exercises on May 31st.  S-231 includes course components from the S-231 course that are all field engine exercises driven on June 1st. Student Fees:  $25.00  for CGTA members and $50.00 for non-CGTA members.
