Class Title: SARTopo for SAR Coordinators and Search Planners

Instructor: Deputies Aaron Codino, Josie Partain, Michael Krebsbach, and Ainsley Morton
Pre-requisites: Have at least a free account for SARTopo
Overview: This course will cover how to use SARTOPO in the context of Search Management. This is a user’s guide for the SARTOPO program and is not meant to teach search planning or search theory. The course covers how to configure the map, locating information through functions and map layers, placing items and assignments, Printing, and Managing simple OP period information, Multiple Op Periods, Advanced segment building, Advanced information gathering and organization, and Importing tracks. This course will run you through multiple scenarios for practice.
