Private Security Entity License Search
The DPSST Oregon Private Security Entity (PSE) Information Records Inquiry System (IRIS) is now available online at:
http://bpl-orsnapshot.net/PrivateSecurityEntity/EntitySearch.aspx
The PSE IRIS can also be accessed on DPSST's PSE website under "Resources" by selecting "Search for an Entity License". After navigating to the PSE IRIS, you can search by either the entity name, or DPSST PSE Identification Number (Entity ID).
All currently active and inactive entities on file with DPSST will be displayed. An "Active" entity does not mean the entity is licensed, but that their file shows they are actively providing private security services. If an "Active" entity does not have a valid license under their Private Security Entity Details, they cannot legally provide private security services in Oregon.
To see if an entity has a valid license or Temporary Authorization Form, select the entity's name and their Private Security Entity Details, including license statuses, will be displayed. A valid license or Temporary Authorization Form will show as "Issued"; the Private Security Entity License will include the duration it is valid, and the Temporary Authorization Form is valid until expired. Private Security Entity Application deficiencies will not be displayed on the PSE IRIS.
For more information on Private Security Entity Licensing, please contact the Private Security Entity unit by phone at 503-378-8531 (extension 2), or by email at PSE@DPSST.Oregon.Gov
