NOTICE OF PROPOSED RULEMAKING
DPSST filed a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking. You are invited to review and submit written comments on the proposed rule changes.
RULE FILING CAPTION: Minor, Technical, and Housekeeping Amendments for the Private Security Provider Program Rules
AMENDING: OAR 259-060-0005, 259-060-0010, 259-060-0015, 259-060-0020, 259-060-0025, 259-060-0030, 259-060-0092, 259-060-0120, 259-060-0135, 259-060-0136, 259-060-0145, 259-060-0300, 259-060-0310, 259-060-0320, 259-060-0350, 259-060-0450
REPEALING: OAR 259-060-0200
RULE OVERVIEW: OAR Chapter 259 Division 60 provides the rules for the private security provider certification and licensure program. These rule changes provide amendments to address minor changes, technical corrections, and housekeeping throughout the rule division. Changes include clarifying language, citation corrections, deletion of expired COVID provisions, updated references to the PSSPA, and reconciliation changes to coordinate with the adoption of OAR Chapter 259 Division 59 for private security entity licensing.
