Class Title: RADAR/LIDAR Instructor Development Course

Sponsoring Agency:  DPSST Regional Training

Target Audience:  Full-time, certified police officers with RADAR/LIDAR cards

When: January 23-26, 2023

Hours: 0800-1700

Cost: Free

Where:  DPSST, Salem, OR

Instructors: David Beatty, DPSST

Overview: This is an instructor development course based on the NHTSA curriculum and is intended to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully train others on how to properly operate RADAR and LIDAR instruments.

Class is limited to 20 students.

Attire: Business casual

Supplies/Equipment Needed: Pen or pencil

Pre-requisites:   Must have a RADAR/LIDAR card issued by DPSST

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: January 17, 2023

Meals & Lodging: Lunch provided to all attendees. Shared dorm room lodging at the academy will be provided at no cost for those who are traveling more than 75 miles one-way. Meals will also be provided to those who lodge at the academy.
