Private Security Fee Increases Pending Legislative Approval
The Board-approved fee increases for the Private Security Provider Certification and Licensure Program are pending legislative approval. The fee increases were approved by the Board on Public Safety Standards and Training at the October 28, 2021 meeting and are scheduled for review by the Legislature during the upcoming February session. If approved by the Legislature we anticipate the fee increases to take effect on April 1, 2022. Additional DPSST notifications will be sent before the fee increases are made effective. Please continue to use the current fees until further notice.
