S.E. Portland DMV office to move temporarily

 

Office will close the week of Feb. 9 for move to temporary location

 

The Southeast Portland DMV Field Office, located at 8710 SE Powell Blvd., will be closed the week of Feb. 9 and will reopen at a temporary location at Mall 205 on Feb. 17, the Tuesday after the President’s Day holiday.
The Southeast Portland DMV will operate from this temporary office, located at 9900 SE Washington St., Suite e-21, next to the Target store on the south side of the mall.
The existing ODOT-owned building will undergo a renovation that includes:  Expanding the customer lobby space; redesigning the floorplan to gain more efficient use of space; replacing the roof; installing more energy-efficient elements to the interior and structure; and adding parking spaces for customers.
This is the first significant work done on the office since DMV moved into the property in the early 1980s. DMV will move back into the remodeled location later this year.
Before going to any DMV office, the agency suggests that you first check www.OregonDMV.com to make sure you have everything you need for your business at DMV. Common transactions such as renewing vehicle registration stickers, changing your address, and reporting the sale of a vehicle can be done online.
