Transportation challenges lead RVACT agenda
MEDFORD — Two new reports about the challenges Oregon faces with its transportation system will lead the Rogue Valley Area Commission on Transportation agenda. RVACT meets at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, in the ODOT White City office, 100 Antelope Road.
Seismic Plus report
The Seismic Plus report lays out a comprehensive program that will deliver longer lasting bridges and a seismically resilient transportation network and economy for Oregon.
Rough Roads Ahead report
The Rough Roads Ahead report outlines how Oregon’s economy performs when the transportation system is maintained in its current good condition versus how it performs when system conditions deteriorate as expected under ODOT’s limited budget.
The RVACT agenda also includes updates and presentations on:
the Rogue Valley Transportation District;
the State Transportation Improvement Program’s Enhance process;
the Oregon Transportation Commission; and
Local construction project updates.
The RVACT meeting is open to the public and agenda time is set aside for public input.
ODOT attempts to hold all public meetings in accessible buildings. Accommodations will be provided to persons with disabilities, and alternate formats of printed material are available upon request. Please call Gary Leaming at 541-774-6388 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting (or statewide relay 7-1-1).
